Product Description:
The round plastic flower pot in the photo is the decorated end of our PP pot range: a tapered round body with a leaf and flower relief moulded into the side wall, a wide rolled rim that sits proud of the wall, and small feet moulded under the base. It is made from PP material and, under normal usage, can be used for 3 years. The range runs from BP90 to BP180, and the same body is offered in red, yellow, green, orange and white. It sits in our Planting Tools range together with the plain and double colour pots made on the same tooling, so a mixed order can be quoted from one packing list.Moulded Relief Detail, Straight off the Tool:
Zoom in on the pot in the photo and the decoration is easy to read: leaf and flower shapes raised on the outside of the wall, with the same detail turning around the whole circumference rather than sitting on one face only. Because the pattern is engraved into the mould, it comes out of the same injection cycle as the body, so the pot needs no printing, no film and no second operation to finish it. That matters for a pot that is handled wet and stacked on a bench, because there is no decorated surface to rub off, scuff or lift at the edges. The wide rim is rolled over as well, which gives the opening a stiffened edge to grip at potting time, and the feet moulded under the base lift the pot clear of the bench so water has a way out. If your order calls for a different surface on the same round body, we also produce a terracotta finish round pot.Specifications:

Reading the Size Ladder from BP90 to BP180:
Eight item numbers make up the ladder. Top diameter climbs from 90 mm (3.5 inch) on BP90 to 180 mm (7 inch) on BP180, bottom diameter from 60 mm to 130 mm, and height from 80 mm to 150 mm, so a pot moves up in all three dimensions at once rather than only growing wider. Read the packing columns together instead of one at a time and the freight side becomes clear. Every size is quotable from 450 pieces per carton upwards, so no item in the range has to be broken down to be shipped. The smallest pot also carries the heaviest carton, 3,150 pieces at 23.55 kg, which puts a single 64x55x56 cm carton at 0.2 CBM; the largest is the lightest packed, 450 pieces at 18 kg. Work the range the other way, in cartons per container, and BP90 gives about 54 cartons against about 62 for BP180, so the small end of the range is the one that fills a container fastest. Put one size beside the next and picking the item number becomes a question of which end of that trade-off your order needs, because the bench footprint per pot grows with the square of the top diameter, from 90 mm across on BP90 to 180 mm on BP180, while the carton count per piece moves the other way. On the bench, the small sizes are the ones used for raising seed while the larger sizes carry a finished plant, and a batch of either can be lined into a coloured square flower pot for retail.Five Colours for Nursery Co-ordination:
The pot comes in red, yellow, green, orange and white, and the colour is carried through the wall of the pot rather than laid on top of it, because it is part of the same moulding as the relief. That is what makes the five colours useful on a working nursery rather than only on a shelf: a colour can be assigned to a batch, a sowing date or a customer order, and the tag stays legible after months of watering, whereas a sticker or a plant label in the pot can be lost. White and yellow read most clearly under greenhouse light; red, orange and green sit closer to the foliage, so they tend to be chosen for display benches. If you would rather keep the colour on the outside only, the same round shape is produced as a double colour flower pot for the same eight sizes.Where the Pot Fits in a Greenhouse:
On a bench the pot has three jobs. First, the moulded feet and the drainage at the base keep the root zone from standing in water, which is what the permeability and ventilation point in the specification refers to. Second, the size ladder lets one nursery run the same pot profile from young plants through to sale, instead of switching to a different range halfway. Third, the relief and the rim give the pot enough presence to go straight to a retail bench without a decorative outer pot. Pots standing on a porous bench are usually set on a garden saucer to catch the water that drains through, and that pairing lets the same pot be used on a bench, in a walk-in tunnel or in a shop display.Ordering and Support:

Q: What is the decoration on the side of this round flower pot?
A: A leaf and flower relief raised on the outside of the wall and carried around the full circumference. It is engraved into the mould, so it comes out of the same injection cycle as the body and needs no printing or second finishing operation.
Q: Which colours can I order, and is the colour printed on?
A: Red, yellow, green, orange and white. The colour runs through the wall of the pot because it is part of the moulding itself, so it does not flake or rub away the way a printed or stick-on surface can.
Q: How long can the pot be used?
A: Under normal usage the pot can be used for 3 years. It is made from PP material, and the feet and base drainage are part of the same moulding.
Q: How many pots are in the smallest carton of the range?
A: 450 pieces, the BP180 pack, in a 55x55x58 cm carton at 18 kg and 0.176 CBM. The largest count is BP90 with 3,150 pieces in a 64x55x56 cm carton at 23.55 kg and 0.2 CBM.
Q: How many years has your company been in this business?
A: Above 35 years. We manufacture in our own factory rather than outsourcing, and we export to more than 32 countries, including Russia, the UAE, Kuwait, Canada, Chile and South Africa.
Q: How do I pay for an order?
A: We accept T/T and L/C. The specific terms are confirmed in the contract before production starts.
