Designing Trials That Can Be Repeated:

A research greenhouse is built around the scientific method: you change one thing, you keep everything else the same, and you run the trial again to see whether you get the same answer. That means the house has to support proper experimental design - treatment groups next to matched controls, enough replicates for statistics, and a layout that lets you randomize where each treatment sits. The two photos above show a house built for that role: a standalone glass house with a brick base and sliding door, and inside, rolling benches with seedling pots and trays, overhead heating and irrigation, and partition walls that keep one trial separate from the next.
 

Controlling One Variable at a Time:

The whole point of a controlled experiment is that only one variable changes at a time. Each compartment can run its own temperature set point, its own humidity band and its own light level, so a trial testing water regime does not get confounded by a temperature difference in the next bay. Ventilation, cooling, heating and greenhouse irrigation systems are zoned per compartment, and the set points are held rather than merely averaged across the day. Where maximum light and clear observation matter, we build on the glass greenhouse models we produce; where heat retention matters more, we use the PC sheet greenhouse form.
 

Data Logging and Monitoring:

A trial is only as good as its records. We can fit temperature, humidity and light sensors in every compartment, connected to a computer monitoring system that logs conditions continuously rather than just showing the current reading. Door registration systems record who enters which room and when, which matters both for controlled trials and for inspection and quarantine work. All monitoring and control equipment is specified at the drawing stage so that cable runs, sensor positions and data loggers are planned rather than retrofitted after the house is built.
 

Frame, Cover and Compartment Layout:

The structure is hot-dip galvanized steel pipe to resist rust, with good light transmission and insulation. The standard cover uses 8mm double-wall polycarbonate sheet and 5mm glass. The compartment layout - the number of rooms, the size of each, the position of doors and the working width around benches - is the decision that hardest to change later, so we set it at the drawing stage to match your trial protocol. The house is part of the wider commercial greenhouse range, and optional systems such as cooling, heating, fertilization, shading, benches and fill-light can be added according to your specification.
