What This Irrigation Machine Is:

The machine travels on a track fixed to the roof frame and sprinkles through a boom fitted with a row of colour coded nozzles - the photo above shows the boom running over trays of orchid seedlings. One work track serves one greenhouse; where several houses share a machine, a wider converting track carries it across, moved by hand, and we advise one machine for no more than a three-span house so watering time is not lost to travel.

Nozzle Selection:

The nozzles are imported from the USA and are of the three-orientation, drip-proof, fast-conversion type, with a spray angle of 110 degrees and an opening pressure of 0.7 kgf/cm2. Three flow options are available: 0.28 l/min, 1.65 l/min and 2.46 l/min at 3 kgf/cm2, so seedlings, young plugs and heavier foliage crops each get the rate that suits them. The nozzles are made of corrosion resistant material, convert quickly between orientations, spray precisely, and carry an anti-drip design that prevents a poor fog shape when the water pressure is low.
 

Work and Spray Control:

The work part runs in four modes: forward work, negative (return) work, stop, and continuous irrigation work. The spray control adds zone selection - the left spray or the right spray can be switched off independently - and the machine travels forward, retreats, sprinkles in a reciprocating pattern and stops at the end of the cycle. Everything is driven through the anti-water control box, a superior electromagnetic sensor and a long-range wireless remote controller (100mW) with strong anti-interference technology, so the operator manages the whole house from the aisle. The frame shell is stainless steel with anti-corrosion additives, the motor drives through a three-phase matched belt wheel, and the inlet rubber pipe is anti-acidic and anti-aging for a long service life; the electromagnetic valves (2W, AC24V) are also imported from the USA.

Three checks decide fit. First, span and journey: the boom reaches 15 m and the journey runs to 60 m, so a wider or longer house needs a different arrangement rather than a stretched one. Second, water: the inlet needs 2 to 5 kgf/cm2, and the flow you choose sets how fast the tanks refill. Third, the crop: nozzle height sits at least 400 mm above the crop and adjusts, which covers most bench and floor crops.
