Shade Net for Greenhouse:

The net is made from polyethylene (HDPE), with high density polyethylene, PE, PB and PVC grades and both recycled and new material used as raw material. It goes through UV stabilisers and an oxidation treatment, which is what gives it its tensile strength, its anti-aging behaviour, corrosion resistance and resistance to light and radiation. In a greenhouse it is the first tool for holding the light and the temperature down when the sun is at its strongest.

What It Is Used For:

The obvious job is to provide shade against sunlight and to control the temperature underneath, and the heavier weights do the same work over a whole house. Away from the house the same net is used to protect flowers and trees against frost, wind and hail damage, as temporary fencing and for packaging applications. On a greenhouse it is laid as the covering itself or fixed as an extra layer over the film or the glass.

We do not quote a fixed number of years, because the working life depends on the UV load at your site and on how the net is installed, tensioned and handled.
