- Features

Basic Information:
Type: multi-span gable roof glass greenhouse | Cover: 4 mm or 5 mm float glass, or 5 mm tempered glass | Light transmittance: above 90%
Frame: hot dip galvanized steel pipe, factory cut and drilled | Gable spans: 8 m to 10.8 m | Height: 4 m to 5.3 m | Wind and snow load: 0.35 kN/m2
What Kit Means Here:
A kit is not a box of loose parts. Everything that belongs to the structure is cut, drilled and trial fitted in our own factory, then marked so the parts can be identified on site, and packed by assembly sequence rather than by size. Along with the steel comes the glass, the purpose-made aluminium profiles that carry it, the sealing strips, the fixings and the drawing set. That way the house is bolted together where it is going to stand instead of being fabricated on the ground, which is what keeps the frame square and the panels straight. Everything that belongs to the building travels in the container, so nothing has to be sourced locally before work can start.Building It Yourself, With Support:
Most of our clients assemble the house with their own team, and the drawing set is written for that. The parts are labelled, the sequence is set out bay by bay, and the two jobs that decide whether the house is right are both in the drawings: setting the frame square and level before the glass goes on, and fitting the glazing into its profiles with the sealing strips the right way round. If you would rather have us on site, our engineers can travel to guide the installation, and we will also walk your team through the profile and sealing details at the start so the first bay is used as the pattern for the rest. Year after year we have customers visiting our factory and our completed projects for exactly this - to see how the frame and the glazing go together before their own house arrives.Made to Your Span and Site:
The house is not ordered from a catalogue size. Gable spans run from 8 m to 10.8 m and the structure height from 4 m to 5.3 m, and the length is set by how many bays your site and your production plan call for. Because the building is assembled from standard bays it also suits ground that is not perfectly flat, which a cast structure does not. Where the crop or the equipment asks for something different - a wider working width, a taller gutter, a different vent layout - that is set at the drawing stage rather than after the steel is cut. Ventilation, external and internal shading, cooling, heating and greenhouse irrigation are all specified with the structure for the same reason: the frame is drilled once, not twice.Frame, Glass and Where It Sits in the Range:
The frame is hot dip galvanized steel pipe at every column, truss and purlin, and the glass is 4 mm or 5 mm float glass, or 5 mm tempered glass where a stronger pane is wanted. Glass gives the highest light transmission of the three coverings we build with and stays clear for the long term, which is why it is the cover for research, high-grade seedlings and any crop where light is the limit. Where heat retention matters more than peak light, the polycarbonate houses are the better answer on the same span. You can look through the glass house models or the wider commercial greenhouse range to compare them side by side.Shipping, Payment and Ordering:
Normal shipping time is 4 to 6 weeks after receipt of order, plus transit from the factory. 30% of the basic greenhouse price is charged on receipt of order and the balance before shipment. Send us the span and length you need, the crop you plan to grow and your local conditions - winter temperature, snow load and wind speed - and we will confirm the layout, the drawing set and a quotation, and tell you what your own team will need on site to assemble it. Q: Can my own team assemble this greenhouse?
A: Yes, most of our clients do. The parts are labelled, the sequence is set out bay by bay, and the drawing set covers the two steps that decide the result: getting the frame square and level before the glass goes on, and fitting the glazing with the sealing strips the right way round.
Q: Do you send engineers to site if we need them?
A: If you ask us to, yes. Our engineers can travel to guide the installation. We will also walk your team through the profile and sealing details at the start, so the first bay becomes the pattern for the rest of the house.
Q: What exactly arrives in the container?
A: The galvanized steel frame, the glass, the aluminium profiles that carry it, the sealing strips, the fixings and the drawing set. Everything that belongs to the structure is included and packed by assembly sequence, so nothing has to be sourced locally before work starts.
Q: Can the size be changed to suit my site?
A: The span can be set between 8 m and 10.8 m, the height between 4 m and 5.3 m, and the length by the number of bays you need. Working width, gutter height and vent layout are all confirmed at the drawing stage rather than after the steel is cut.
Q: Can the house be built on ground that is not level?
A: It can. The building is assembled from standard bays that bolt together, so it suits a site that is not perfectly flat - which is one reason it is chosen over a cast structure. The base and the first setting out are covered in the drawing set.
Q: What is the delivery time and payment term?
A: Shipping is normally 4 to 6 weeks after receipt of order, plus transit from the factory. 30% of the basic greenhouse price is charged on receipt of order and the balance before shipment.
