What a Glass Greenhouse Is Built From:

The frame is hot dip galvanized steel, cut and drilled in our own factory before packing. The roof carries two-way vent windows opened by a rack and pinion drive, so a long run of the house can be aired from a single control point. The top and the sides are closed with purpose-made aluminium profiles rather than timber or bare steel, which is what holds the glass tight in its frame year after year.
 

Why the Glass Cover Performs:

The cover is 4mm or 5mm thick float glass with a light transmission rate of 90%, so the crop works under close to full daylight and the house needs less supplemental lighting than a film or sheet house. Single, double or hollow glass can all be used on the side walls and the end walls, which lets you trade cost against insulation for the climate on your own site. Where light is the priority, glass is the strongest of the three coverings we offer; where heat retention matters more, the polycarbonate greenhouse range is worth comparing on the same footprint.
 

Ventilation and Climate Systems:

A glass house is supplied with the climate equipment it needs, not as a bare structure. According to user needs it is fitted with a cooling system, a heating system, manual or electric operation windows, natural ventilation, internal and external shading systems, greenhouse irrigation, a fill light and lighting system, and intelligent control systems.
