Why Flower Production Moved Under Cover:


Growing flowers in the open field ties the grower to the season and to the weather that comes with it, and buyers no longer accept that. Once the crop is grown under cover the picture changes: the environment can be held steady, quality becomes repeatable, and the house can supply the market through the year rather than in one window. That is why flower production moved indoors, and it is also why flowers have become a realistic export product for growers in locations that were never flower regions before. Our flower greenhouse collection is built for that way of working, on a hot dip galvanized steel frame rated for 15-20 years of service and backed by a 10-year structural warranty.
 

What the House Must Control:


Four factors decide whether a flower crop comes out even. Temperature is held where the species wants it, which takes heating in cold weather and cooling in hot weather. Light has to reach the beds evenly, and it has to be cut back for the foliage groups in summer. Humidity has to stay inside the band that keeps fungus pressure low. Carbon dioxide concentration affects how fast the plants grow. Each of these is handled by equipment that is designed into the house: ventilation and cooling, shading, drip irrigation and fertilizing, lighting and automatic control. The whole greenhouse equipment range can be specified at the same time as the structure, so nothing has to be retrofitted later.
 

Four Groups of Greenhouse Flowers:


Flower crops are not hardy plants. They do not overwinter in cold temperate regions, so a covered house is required to meet their needs, and the temperature they are held at sorts them into four groups:

◆ Cold room flowers, held at 2 to 5 ℃ - bamboo palm, cycads and other foliage plants.

◆ Low greenhouse flowers, held at 5 to 8 ℃ - semi hardy types such as Primula.

◆ Temperature greenhouse flowers, held at 8 to 15 ℃ - subtropical types such as Calceolaria and fuchsias.

◆ High temperature greenhouse flowers, held at 15 to 25 ℃ - tropical types such as Codiaeum.

Crops that are not native to the area can be brought in and acclimatised under the same cover, which is how a grower adds a new line without rebuilding the site.
 

Before You Order: Site, Systems, Shipment:


Site. Choose land with a low water table, a reliable supply of clean water, convenient drainage and irrigation, and loose fertile soil free of pollution. Run the house north to south with the vents on the east and west sides: humidity then stays easier to hold, the rows shade each other less so light lands evenly on the beds, and the house can be ventilated in winter without a large volume of cold north wind coming in.

Systems. Decide the equipment with the structure, not after it: cooling and heating, irrigation and fertilizing, ventilation, lighting and automatic control all fix to the frame, and our factory in Sichuan supplies them together with the house.

Shipment. A complete order contains three parts: the metal structures, the covering system and the installation accessories. Everything is packed for container shipping, and layout drawings plus an installation manual come with the order so the house can be assembled on site.
